Advertised numbers on factory performance cams always seem quite large. Good luck finding advertised duration numbers. It seemed to be a fairly popular choice until the Voodoo cams came along then that's all you heard Vortec head/Voodoo cam combo. They normally used GM crate engines with dished pistons then fitted them with thin head gaskets to get the compression up a little.
